Job Description

As Kit Manager, you’ll play a vital behind-the-scenes role, ensuring the first team has everything they need to perform at their best. This includes preparing and maintaining matchday and training kits, organising equipment, and supporting the management team with logistical needs.

Job Duties

  • - Manage and maintain all kit and equipment for the First Team including all First Team home and away games and first team training nights. 
  • - Prepare and set up dressing rooms for all first team home and away fixtures, including pre-match and post-match duties.
  • - Ensure the correct allocation, distribution, and collection of kit for players and staff for training sessions and matches.
  • - Launder and care for all kit items to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation for the first team and development team. 
  • - Manage kit inventory, stock levels, and order new supplies as needed in coordination with club suppliers.
  • - Pack and transport all necessary kit and equipment for away games, first team only, ensuring nothing is left behind.
  • - Label and organise player-specific kit to ensure smooth operations on matchdays and training days.
  • - Assist in setting up training equipment (balls, cones, bibs, etc.) and ensuring everything is in good condition.
  • - Support the Development Team with consistent kit standards and equipment, liaising with the Development Team manger as required.
  • - Work closely with coaching staff and medical to ensure all requirements are met efficiently.
  • Adhere to club values, safeguarding, and health & safety policies at all times.


  • Knowledge and Skills

    • Previous experience in a kit management or similar operations/support role within a football environment (professional or semi-professional) is desirable.
    • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
    • Flexible and committed, with the ability to work unsociable hours including evenings, weekends, and travel with the team.
    • Full UK driving licence (desirable).
    • A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile to support the team.
