Job Description

As CEO, you will be the strategic and operational leader of the club. You will work closely with the Chairman, Board of Directors, coaching staff, commercial partners, and the local community to increase revenue streams, professionalise club operations, and drive the footballing ambition of Mousehole AFC.

Job Duties

STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP

Develop and implement a long-term strategic plan in line with the club's ambitions for growth and sustainability.

Lead the club's vision to progress through the football pyramid while maintaining strong community ties.


COMMERCIAL GROWTH

Identify and secure new commercial partnerships and sponsorships to diversify and increase club revenue.

Develop and oversee marketing, branding, and digital strategies to enhance the club's profile regionally and nationally.

Explore innovative revenue streams including events, merchandise, and digital media.


OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT

Oversee non-football operations including finance, HR, matchday operations, and administration.

Develop internal processes and professionalise systems to support the club's growth.


FOOTBALL LIAISON

Work collaboratively with the Director of Football, first-team manager and football operations team to ensure the football department is resourced and aligned with the club's objectives.

Support talent development and long-term pathways, especially from the club's youth setup.


COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Strengthen the club's role in the local community through engagement programmes, partnerships, and outreach.

Champion diversity, inclusivity, and supporter engagement in all aspects of the club's operations.

Knowledge and Skills

Leadership experience, ideally in a sport, commercial, or community organisation.


Demonstrated ability to grow revenue, manage budgets, and develop strategic partnerships.


Strong operational and organisational skills.


Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.


A real passion for football and a deep understanding of the game's cultural and commercial landscape.
